![]() ![]() These branch off from the central Warner Bros Plaza, where films are projected on the walls, and which buzzes with restaurants and shops, some of which sell merchandise specifically designed for Warner Bros World. The park covers 1.65 million square feet and is made up of five immersive lands – Metropolis Gotham City Cartoon Junction Dynamite Gulch and Bedrock. TIP: CHECK WHICH RIDES ARE CLOSED BEFORE BOOKING.Huge indoor theme park Warner Bros World is now open on Abu Dhabi's Yas Island. If the main rides are not working, I would avoid this place completely. I'm would rate this park as 4* for families with young children, and 3* for older/teenagers/adults etc. Also, some of the WB characters are a bit outdated. Teenagers and adults will rapidly run out of things to do. ![]() On the negative side, although it is claimed that there are some 40 or so rides, many are for small children. But note that some of these are easily missed as the ride entrance is relatively inconspicuous. On the positive side, there are some good rides eg. Sadly, there is no way we could justify the exorbitant price. One of the shows which took place in the main square was 2:30pm and 8:30pm, which meant if you missed the 2:30pm one you had to wait six hours - quite ridiculous. Gotham City was like a cemetery, almost completely empty. A third ride called Knight Flight was closed for part of the morning but opened later. We only found out after we entered the park. They were gutted to learn that two of the best rides were closed for the entire day (Riddler Revolution and Scarecrow). Our sons are young adults and were mostly interested in Gotham City. The park had been open for only 9 months and was almost completely empty. But I think that WB did quite a good job in squeezing everything in, and the design and theming is excellent. On the down side, its obviously smaller than an outdoor park. This has advantages - you never worry about weather or temperature. ![]() This park is 100% indoors, not even a window or a terrace to the outside. ![]()
